“Daugavpils Brass” will delight the audience with a new concert programme.
September 25 at 6p.m. in Vienibas Nams’s Concert Hall (Rigas street 22a) within the 12th Music and Art festival "Daugavpils ReStArt 2023" – “Daugavpils Brass”, soloists and the graduates of Stanislavs Broks Daugavpils Music Secondary School (SBDMV) in the programme “Stories of Hollywood”.
“Daugavpils Brass” is an ensemble of metal wind instruments (trumpets, French horns, trombones, tuba) and drums, playing classical music, jazz and pop music. The invited soloists – a trumpetist of orchestra “Riga” and the orchestra of the Latvian National Opera and Ballet - Guntis Supe, a tubist of National Guard orchestra Eduards Lipans will perform in the concert. Conductor - Roberts Saulevičs. The concert is contributed to the centenary of Stanislavs Broks Daugavpils Music Secondary School and the graduates of the Winds and Drums department will participate in the concert.
