the concert - “COME TOGETHER” presenting the hits of the legendary group from Liverpool – “The Beatles”. Performed by Grodnya region philharmonic big bend conducted by Boris Mjagkov, soloists: N. Ivanova, G. Laviss, D. Harkevics, K. Taina.

The orchestra was founded in March, 2001. The artistic director and the main conductor is Boris Mjagkov. Since its beginning the orchestra has performed various concert programmes which include compositions of instrumental and vocal music, ranging from classics to jazz. The orchestra is acting as a creative laboratory supporting both the young and the experienced musicians. In their project “The Parade of the Orchestras”it unites the Byelorussian and foreign musical collectives. The orchestra has performed in the biggest cities of Byelorussia, has given concerts in Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Russia. For his excellent work and creative, musical achievements in several festivals, the orchestra and its conductor have been awarded with prizes of international level and the Prizes of Honour of the Republic of Byelorussia. At the same time the orchestra takes part in the international sport dance championships (Baltic Cup, Magic Dance (Riga), Vilnius Open, Minsk Open, Crystall Ball (StPetersburgh), German Open Championships etc.),as the accompanying musical group.

In Daugavpils Grodnya region philharmonic orchestra is visiting for the first time, so the attenders of the concert will have a superb chance to get acquainted with talented, young musicians from Byelorussia.
